Fundraising may seem like a challenging task. But don’t worry! We’ll help you every step of the way. To get you started, we’ve put together a simple list of practical fundraising ideas. Pick a few of these to do over the course of the month, and you’ll be sure to raise a ton of money to fund education for Darfuri refugee children. T-Shirts
Sell awesome Save Darfur t-shirts at your school and raise a ton of money for the cause. To order shirts for your fundraiser, email morgan@rocknraise.org.

Write-a-thon
Send our pledge letter to your family and friends asking them to make a small donation. Our goal is to send 5,000 pledge letters to the Chicago community in February, so we’d love your help! Download our form letter at www.rocknraise.org/letters.

Bake Sale
Make some delicious desserts and host a bake sale. Sell these tasty treats in your classes, in the halls, and at lunch. This is an easy and eective way to quickly raise funds.

Local Business Donation
Ask businesses to make a contribution to support Rock ‘n’ Raise for Darfur. Perhaps you can set up a Rock ‘n’ Raise for Darfur jar in the front of a business to collect small donations. If you host an event at your school, ask businesses to match the funds that you raise.

Restaurant Benefit
Ask a restaurant to give you a portion of the proceeds they make in a night. In return, you will promote the restaurant by passing out yers and getting people there. You give them business, they give you money. It’s that simple!

Door-to-door Soliciting
Knock knock. ‘Who’s there?’ HELP US FUND SCHOOLS IN AFRICA! Woohoo!
