Concert tickets on sale Get ready to rock out at our concert on February 14 at the Metro featuring Madina Lake, The Blisters, Big Science, and Brendan Kelly of the Lawrence Arms.
Rock 'n' Raise featured on Jvibe.com Last summer, when JVibe announced its 18 Under 18 winners, the pool included Spencer Tweedy, musician and blogger from Chicago, and Ethan Barhydt, founder of Chicago-based organization Youth United for Darfur (YUFD). Since being recognized for their extraordinary contributions to the greater community, Spencer and Ethan have connected and are now uniting their passions for music and philanthropy to assist refugee children from Darfur by putting on a concert and fundraising campaign. Schools will compete, winners will score big 50 schools are fundraising to help Darfuri refugee children, but only 1 will get the big prize. Any guesses? Alright, we’ll tell you. The school that raises the most money will get to attend their own private reception |
